Cashless payments

How do I pay cashless for my food and drinks?

During the event, you pay for your food and drinks with your wristband or card. You receive this wristband at the start of the event. Often, you can preload your wristband in advance.

Paying is simple:

  1. Scan your wristband or card at the payment terminal.

  2. Place your order.

  3. Done! You receive your order and see your new balance immediately.

Why choose cashless payments?

How can I check or top up my balance?

We recommend topping up enough balance so you can keep partying even if your phone runs out of battery. Any remaining balance will be automatically refunded after the event.

 

At events partnering with us, there are various ways to top up:

  • Event App: Go to your wallet in the event app to check your balance and add funds to your account.

  • Email: You will receive a link to your personal account via email where you can check your balance and add funds.

  • Anonymous Card: Scan the QR code on your wristband to check your balance and add funds.

  • On-Site: Most events have a location on the grounds where you can top up with PIN or cash.

Usually, any remaining balance is automatically refunded or can be claimed back. Check the event's terms and conditions for more information!

What happens if I lose my wristband?

Log into your account as soon as possible and block your wristband. This can often be done at an information point as well. Once your wristband is blocked, no one else can use it, and you can get a new one with your remaining balance transferred to it.

If you are not near the event, contact the event organizers.

What happens if I lose my card?

Block the card as soon as possible. This can often be done at an information point or by contacting the event organizers. Once the card is blocked, no one else can use it.

How do I buy a round for my friends?

With the Event App, you can easily buy a round for your friends. Go to the wallet to share or receive money by showing or scanning your personal QR code.

You can also get an anonymous payment card with a group of friends and load a shared amount onto it. This card can then be used by everyone. Now you just need to decide who will get the drinks!

Refund

Your favorite event of the year has just come to an end. In addition to a potential hangover and the great memories made, there is but one thing left: getting your remaining balance back. What do you have to do? Nothing! Except perhaps downing a glass of water to cure your hangover ;)

How do I recognize a refund from Tactile?
We use Stichting Derdengelden (untranslatable, believe us - we tried) PAY.nl to manage your money (this is a third party account). So when looking for your refund, the account holder name you should look for is PAY.nl. 


Do I need to add my bank details to my account?
That depends. Did you top up your balance during the event with either pin or cash? Or did you receive money from your friends through the event application? If your answer to one or both of these questions is “yes”, then we need your bank details to fully complete your refund. You can upload these details in your event profile. 


If you topped up online, refunds are automatically transferred to the account you used for the top-up.


How long does it take before the money is back in my account?
This depends on the payment method you used. In general we refund your money back to you within 24 hours after the event ends. For iDEAL you can expect a processing time of 24 - 72 hours, credit cards may take 1-4 weeks depending on your provider. 


If you topped up your balance with cash/pin during the event or received money from friends through the mobile app, it takes a bit longer for us to refund, this may take up to two weeks after the event ends. Itching to get your money back? Make sure to check if your IBAN is filled in on your profile page to speed up this refund process!


I don’t have bank details
Can’t fill in an IBAN on your profile page because you do not have a bank account that supports IBAN? Please contact us through our website contact form so we can assist you in getting back your refund. Make sure to fill out the same email address as used for your account!


Why is the refund I received not the same as my remaining balance?
It is possible that you will receive several refunds. This depends on how often you did a top-up. So first of all, look if there is more than one refund. If you did several top-ups with different bank accounts, your refunds will be distributed back to you over those different accounts. So if someone else did a top-up for you, they will receive your refund on their bank account. 


Keep in mind the different processing times per payment method: if you topped up with both iDEAL and credit card, for instance, you will receive your iDEAL refund sooner than your credit card refund. For specific processing times per payment method, consult the frequently asked questions below.


It is also possible that we still need your bank details. Please consult the FAQ-question above if this could be the case.


Help, I can not find my refund!


Have you checked:

  • If you have any payments from PAY.nl?

  • If the amount was spread over several refunds?

  • If the money was refunded to another bank account?

  • If we have your bank details?

  • If we are still within the processing time of your bank (especially with credit cards)

Lockers

How can I purchase a locker?
At the event, you can easily purchase a locker by scanning your personal wristband or anonymous card at a locker checkout. After selecting a size, you will receive your locker details within a few minutes via email or through the event app.

Where can I find my locker details?


Depending on the event, this can be done in three ways:

  • Email: After your purchase, you will receive the locker details within a few minutes via email.

  • App: After purchasing and refreshing your event app, you will find the locker details in your profile under your access QR code.

  • Anonymous card: Scan the QR code with your phone to view your locker details.


Can I share my locker?
Yes, absolutely! Simply share a screenshot of your locker details, or share them via WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, or TikTok.

I haven't received my access code?
It can sometimes take a few minutes for the details to arrive via email. If you have not received your locker details, please contact the event organizers or reach out to info@lockercompany.nl.

 

What if my locker won't open or close?
Oops, that's unfortunate. Please contact the event organizers or Locker Company at info@lockercompany.nl.
